What is Solana Scratchers?

Our mission is to bring a simple, exciting, and provably fair lottery experience to the Solana blockchain.

Inspired by the thrill of instant wins, Solana Scratchers uses its own token to create a self-sustaining prize pool. A 6% tax on token transactions is used to fund prizes and project operations, giving holders with at least 10,000 tokens a chance to win instant SOL rewards every hour, just for holding.

This "hold-to-scratch" model features three tiers of scratch cards, rewarding our most dedicated holders with higher prize potential and better odds.

You automatically receive a free scratch card every hour as long as you hold at least 10,000 tokens in your wallet. Every hour, a snapshot is taken, and eligible holders can find a new scratch card in our dApp.

We have three tiers of scratch cards based on your holdings, each with different prizes and win rates. The more you hold, the better your card!

  • PLAYER TIER (10k+ tokens): 10% chance to win 0.05 SOL.
  • WHALE TIER (100k+ tokens): 15% chance to win 0.25 SOL.
  • KRAKEN TIER (500k+ tokens): 20% chance to win 1.00 SOL.
Krakens also have a rare 0.5% chance to win the Grand Prize of 100 SOL!

Our prize pool is funded by a transparent 6% tax on every token transaction. This ensures the lottery is always self-sustaining. Here's the breakdown:

  • 4% goes directly into the main prize pool for hourly Player, Whale, and Kraken wins.
  • 1% is sent to a separate, secure wallet to fund the 100 SOL Kraken Grand Prize.
  • 1% is allocated to project operations, development, and marketing.

We use a technology called a Verifiable Random Function (VRF) to ensure that our winner selection is completely random and tamper-proof. A VRF is a cryptographic tool that generates a random number but also produces a mathematical proof that the number was generated correctly and randomly. This proof can be verified by anyone on the blockchain, meaning we cannot manipulate, influence, or predict the outcome of a draw. It's a guarantee that every single holder has a fair chance to win.
